The TN Trade NAFTA Professional Worker – Canadians and Mexican Nationals

Canada and Mexico enjoy a treaty relationship with the United States, called the North American Free Trade Agreement.  As it applies to the hiring of degreed nationals from those countries, the free trade agreement allows work authorization in the United States, in three year increments.  The TN nonimmigrant classification is a visa category available to eligible Mexicans and Canadians with at least a bachelor’s degree or appropriate professional credentials who work in certain qualified fields pursuant to the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Qualified candidates must enter the United States to occupy a position that appears on the NAFTA list of approved professions.  For assistance with the preparation and filing, or extension of a Mexican or Canadian TN petition, please contact The Ezer Law Group PLLC at info@ezerlawgroup.com.
